Hey Folks! Ever wondered why the Bible sometimes refers to heaven (singular) and heavens (plural)? Both Old and New Testaments relate the idea of multiple heavens and the original languages clearly communicate plurality shamayim (שָׁמַיִם) in Hebrew and ouranois (οὐράνιος) in Greek. Old Testament passages describe heaven as the atmosphere of the earth, the area beyond the atmosphere, and the dwelling place of God (Ps 148:4-6, 115:15-17, Amos 9:6). In the John’s writing in the Revelation, John experiences multiple “levels” of heaven, or the spirit realm and sees more than Jesus and angels: 1:10, 4:1, 13:1, 14:1, 19:17, 21:1, 10. Heaven is a realm beyond the physical.

What comes to mind for you when you think of heaven?

    Blessings!

Great question! The high places of heaven are accessible for us to experience! There are many “rooms” in heaven and I would love to hear you share some of the heavenly places you have been able to experience.

Hehe… thanks for the invitation in your response, Patty! Seems like this is a big topic (at least for me) because there are many possibilities with many practical results.

The Heaven or Heavens topic will be the focus of discussion on the next Ask Us Anything, Wednesday, September 25, 3 PM, PST. Folks can join me that day and here 1) some of my experiences in heaven, 3) the results of those experiences, 3) how they can access the heavens. See ya’ll real soon now… ya hear!
