That's so awesome Dr. Patty! I have received that "Word" format from God before when He may offer it, but I LOVE how to be intentional with asking God for the focus for the day through a word or scripture. I'm in for this week! Who else?
The Lord did it with me by highlighting one phrase from the Lord's prayer and encouraging me to ask for my "daily bread." If Jesus included this phrase in His model prayer, there must be something significant about receiving His daily bread! I've found it to be a rich practice!
Amen. Yes. Give us THIS DAY our daily bread! Feed on the bread of life daily!
